Cemetery Gates, Colchester’s long-running rock and metal night, returns with a new format and a new home.
The relaunched night will now take place at Tribal Underground on St Botolph’s Street, kicking off on Friday 16 November 2013.
DJ sets come from organisers Steevi and Danni Diamond, alongside Chris (Eastern Front) and Pip (The Conflict Within). The night will also feature burlesque dancers, ticket giveaways for Converge at Colchester Arts Centre and Steve Vai at Ipswich Regent Theatre, plus plenty of late-night metal.
Explaining the move, Steevi said the event had previously been based at The Hole in the Wall for a couple of years, but a change in management meant it could no longer continue there. The organisers thanked the venue for its support and wished them well for the future.
The new venue marks a return to familiar territory at Tribal, with admission remaining just £2. Expect hours of rock and metal from 10pm until 3am.
