Cemetery Gates, Colchester’s long running rock and metal night, makes it’s long awaited return with a new format and a new home.

Now taking place in Tribal Underground on St Botolphs Street, the re-launch takes place on Friday 16th November with DJ sets from organisers Steevi and Danni Diamond, Chris (Eastern Front) and Pip (The Conflict Within). There’ll also be burlesque dancers, you can win tickets for Converge at Colchester Arts Centre and Steve Vai at Ipswich Regent, and there’ll be plenty of partying to had.

Steevi explained the reasons behind the move, “We had a home for a couple of years at The Hole in the Wall but due to a change in management, we are no longer able to continue the Gates there. We thank the Hole in the Wall for it’s support over the years and wish them the best of luck for the future. Our search for a new home has turned full circle at Tribal, it’s still dirt cheap at £2 and you get hours and hours of your favourite metal, metal and more metal!”

Admission is £2 and the night runs from 10pm until 3am.
