Invasion Colchester returns for its 14th year!

The original sci-fi, fantasy and comic book city-wide charity event is back in Colchester City Centre on Saturday 5 September 2026, from 10am to 4pm.

Expect characters from across sci-fi, fantasy and comics, show cars from TV and film, special guests, live performances, family activities, competitions and plenty more throughout the day.

Whether you’re a fan of superheroes, movie icons, cosplay, comics or cult classics, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Most importantly, Invasion Colchester helps raise vital funds for three incredible local charities: St Helena Hospice, Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity, and Mind (Mid & North East Essex) — all of whom provide essential support across our community.
